Join the Junior Board Society

The Junior Board Society is a group of young professionals, generally in their 20s and 30s, interested in supporting the work of the Chicago Public Library Foundation.

Through annual gifts of $150, members of the Junior Board Society help to power Library Foundation-funded programs like Teachers in the Library, CyberNavigators and the Summer Learning Challenge that build skills, fuel ambitions and spark the imaginations of Chicagoans of all ages. Learn more about these life-changing programs.

Members of the Junior Board Society serve as associate members of the Foundation's Junior Board and are invited to participate in a variety of events hosted by the Junior Board throughout the year. Members of the Junior Board Society also serve as ambassadors to promote the work of the Chicago Public Library Foundation to other young professionals throughout Chicago.

Member Gifts of $150:

  • Special rate to the Sandburg Awards Dinner - $250 ticket (75% discount!)
  • Invitations to Junior Board and networking events throughout the year
